                WATCHING FOOTBALL

A: "What are you watching?"
B: "A football game. Packers are playing the Chiefs."
A: "I never understood this game."
B: "It's not that hard. If you watch a couple of games, you'll start to understand it."
A: "Do you watch a lot of football?"
B: "I like the Packers, so I watch all their games."
A: "Did you play football before?"
B: "Only in high school. I was too small to play for college."
A: "What position did you play?"
B: "I was the corner back."
A: "Is that the main guy in offense?"
B: "No. That's the quarterback. The corner back is a defensive player covering passing plays and outside running plays."
A: "I see. Do you think it is more fun than baseball?"
B: "It's hard to compare the two because they're so different. I like both baseball and football. How about you? You like baseball a lot?"
A: "Yeah. I'm a big baseball fan."
B: "Baseball is fun, but you should also learn football. I'll explain as we watch."
A: "Cool."

           VIENDO EL FÚTBOL

A: "¿Qué estás viendo?"

B: "Un partido de fútbol. Los Packers juegan contra los Chiefs".

R: "Nunca entendí este juego".

B: "No es tan difícil. Si miras un par de juegos, comenzarás a entenderlo".

A: "¿Ves mucho fútbol?"

B: "Me gustan los Packers, así que veo todos sus partidos".

A: "¿Jugaste al fútbol antes?"

B: "Solo en la escuela secundaria. Era demasiado pequeño para jugar en la universidad".

A: "¿En qué posición jugaste?"

B: "Yo estaba en la esquina de atrás".

A: "¿Es ese el tipo principal en la ofensiva?"

B: "No. Ese es el mariscal de campo. El corredor de esquina es un jugador defensivo que cubre jugadas de pase y jugadas de carrera externa".

A: "Ya veo. ¿Crees que es más divertido que el béisbol?"

B: "Es difícil comparar los dos porque son muy diferentes. Me gusta tanto el béisbol como el fútbol. ¿Qué hay de ti? ¿Te gusta mucho el béisbol?"

R: "Sí. Soy un gran fanático del béisbol".

B: "El béisbol es divertido, pero también debes aprender fútbol. Lo explicaré mientras miramos".

              DRINKING A: "Do you drink much?" B: "Depending on what you consider a lot." A: "How frequently do you drink?" B: "Couple times a week. How about you?" A: "Only when I go out. I'm not a big drinker." B: "How much can you drink?" A: "I usually only have 2 beers." B: "You're a light weight." A: "How much can you drink?" B: "I'm usually drinking all night long.
